Start speaking German from the very beginning.
Our German A1 Regular Course is designed for complete beginners and learners with little or no previous German knowledge. Over 10 weeks, you’ll build a strong foundation in essential grammar and vocabulary while learning how to actually use German in everyday situations.
With two 1.5-hour sessions per week, the course gives you enough time between classes to practise, revise and build your confidence gradually.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
Introduce yourself and talk about your work, family, interests and daily life
Handle everyday situations such as shopping, cafés, appointments and getting around the city
Build your own sentences using essential A1 grammar and vocabulary
Understand and participate in simple German conversations
Speak with greater confidence in practical, real-life situations
Course format: 10 weeks · 2 sessions per week · approx. 30 hours of instruction
Includes live instructor-led classes, digital learning materials, homework and additional exercises, regular speaking practice and access to The Sprach Café community and workshops.
